Heroiny has been played on NTS shows including SKYAPNEA, with Braids first played on 14 September 2015.

Piotr Kurek is currently one of the most interesting Polish artists, working with old keyboards and electronic equipment to create sound tapestries that draw on both experimental music and traditional melodies, as heard on his already classic albums “Edena” (released under his own name) and “Dalia” (as Piętnastka). His new side-project Heroiny also utilises synths and repetition, but now moving further into club music, with an organic sound relying heavily on mysterious and exotic grooves.

Although a live performer rather than a DJ, Kurek links his sound even further to the contemporary dance scene via this Unsound Podcast series entry, mixing snippets from his forthcoming release on Dunno with some of his recent favourites.
