Bert Reid, real name Bertram Charles Reid Jr., was a tenor saxophonist and vocalist in Crown Heights Affair, and also went on to write and produce many top 10 club hits for Harlem Sunshine, Jamaica Underground, Denroy Morgan, Barbara Tucker, Raw Silk and Unlimited Touch. In more recent time he worked with producers like Little Louie Vega and Trey Max. He died of lung cancer on dec 12, 2004, at 48.
