Esco was a very highly-rated grime MC from Leytonstone, E11, East London, and represented the Slew Dem Crew. Despite being highly regarded in the grime scene he never released a mixtape, partly because he had to serve a jail term.He is also the brother of England & Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe.

Despite not having released a mixtape he featured on the soundtrack for Lord Of The Mics 2 and Lord Of The Decks 1, and vocalled the Skepta beat 'D.T.I', as well as JME's '96 Bars of revenge'.

Sadly Jade Defoe, a.k.a Esco Big Bars passed away on the 24th of April 2009, he will be truely missed… RIP ESCO BIG BARS!!
