IN FOCUS: BROADCAST

A two hour journey through the utterly singular sound of Broadcast. Fronted by the late Trish Keenan, the Birmingham band melded the novel soundscaping of library music and early electronic experiments with their own sensitive take on indie rock and pop. Keenan's untimely passing in 2011 effectively ended the project - but a limited amount of previously unheard material has surfaced in the following years. This mix features classics and obscurities from across Broadcast's discography, including exclusive tracks featured in upcoming compilation "Distant Call - Collected Demos 2000-2006".

Heavy vinyl records collector Dr. Kruger digs deep every other Sunday to bring soulful, funky and odd tunes from his crates straight to your home. Sometimes joined by a fellow crate digger/DJ of his choice, just tune in and let the doctor treat you.
