Derketa has been played on NTS shows including A Fist in the Face of God presents: Midnite Madness, with Premature Burial first played on 9 March 2016.

Derketa (also spelled Derkéta) were a death metal band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania formed in 1988. They released a rehearsal tape in 1988, a demo in 1989 titled "The Unholy Ground" and in EP in 1991 titled "Premature Burial". They split up after recording the EP, but reformed in 1997. They subsequently released a split with Nunslaughter in 1997 and appeared on a 4-way split with Gravewürm, Witchburner and Sadomaniac in 2002. In 2003 a discography CD titled "Goddess of Death" was released. Two members of Derketa play in the brutal death metal band Eviscium.
