Tall Pony has been played on NTS shows including Prosumer, with I'm Your Boyfriend Now first played on 3 May 2016.
Tall Pony are a Cheltenham based unsigned duo who elbowed their way to national attention in October 2006 when Huw Stevens played their demo "I'm Your Boyfriend Now" on his Radio 1 show.
The song proved so popular that Huw replayed it the following week…..and the week after that and the week after that….
in fact the song was the most requested song by far of 2006 for late night Radio 1 programmes.
The track also made the number 1 spot in the Dandelion Radio/John Peel Festive 50 for 2006.
The song is available as part of a limited edtion CD - (order through the band's contact email……tall_pony@mac.com)
It was released as a single (CHY010) by Cherryade on Monday June 26th 2007.
