Open Mind

Open Mind

Open Mind has been played on NTS in shows including Loose Bones, featured first on 9 May 2016. Songs played include Body Force and Trance Machine.

There are at least four artists with the name Open Mind.

English band formed in the mid 1960s (disbanded 1973) by four musicians from Putney, South London.

Initially named The Drag Set, they released a little-known single in February 1967, "Day and Night"/"Get Out of My Way". Shortly thereafter, they changed their name to The Open Mind and in July 1969 released a self-titled LP which has since become a highly sought-after collectible.

The band, however, is best known for its druggy August 1969 single, "Magic Potion", which did not appear on the album.

Alias used by Joey Beltram, particularly for The Trance 12" in 1990.

German Band from Salzhausen, Niedersachsen:

Open Mind, existing since 2006 are Jakob Witte (vox), Julian Engelken (guitar), daniel Kalb (bass) and Thilo Schröder (drum). Their music is a mix of melodic hardcore,hardrock and alternative rock. You can visit them @ http://www.myspace.com/bandopenmind

Open Mind are an up and coming Buckinghamshire alternative rock band consisting of 5 16/17 year olds including Mat Polley and Simon Flory; axe extrodinaires. Gordon Speakman on drums, Steve Poulson on bass and Singer Matt alexander complete the band Their EP is due to be released in late August 2007 and can be bought by contacting their MySpace page. While there is a band known as The Open Mind this page is correct for Open Mind.
