Scion Success

Scion Success

Scion Success has been played on NTS in shows including Death Is Not The End, featured first on 1 September 2016. Songs played include Put It On, Love Me ( A.K.A.) General Version and Settle Them A Settle.

Scion Sashay Success, was born George Narcisse in Kingston, and moved to New York in the seventies. In 1983 his first single "Can´t leave Jah alone" was published on Jah Life Records, where he worked, among others, with producer Mikey Jarett. After gaining respect as one of New York´s greatest young Reggae singers, he collaborated with Sister Carol when he came back to Jamaica in 1986. This was also the year his debut album SUCCESS came out. On the stage he now could be seen together with big names like Tenor Saw, Tony Tuff, Super Cat and Barrington Levy. He is probably best known for his tune Sound Bwoy Fall (aka Dun Dead Already), but he has put out 6 LP´s and a whole heap a singles, and is showing no signs of laziness as his career moved over the 20 yrs mark. Even though he isn´t as well known by the masses, as he probably would deserve, there are various examples of Sound Clashes, in which a Scion Success dubplate decided the dance for either one of the sounds
