Tim Darcy is the frontman of Ought, the Montreal post-punk quartet that has been one of the most consistently great bands in music these past few years. He’s got a solo album called Saturday Night on Jagjaguwar, and it finds him applying his knack for nervous-tension rock to music of a rootsier and/or more meditative variety.
