VRSYJNES (Pronounced Versey-Jones) is a young beatmaker from South London. Previously known as Versechild, he has been currently working with international artists in the US underground scene such as Bones, Raider Klan, J.K The Reaper and others. He also had one of his tracks featured in The Fader's Summer mix.

VRSYJNES produces a genre known as Phonk, which is an US underground genre that has been pioneered by artists such as Raider Klan, Bones & Xavier Wulf in areas like Miami, Texas, California and Atlanta. It usually contains a looped vocal verse lifting from 90's Memphis artists which is placed over strong but sometimes smooth production. Although he is from UK, his current following is from that scene, but he looks to expand as he develop more production skills.

Under his previous name (Versechild) he had small time success: he had his music featured on BBC 1Xtra and producing an introduction track for SB.TV at one point. He decided to drop the name as he felt like it restricting him, since he was only known for producing UK Road Rap. He believes he is capable of producing other genres, but thought a blank slate along with a new alias would be a fresh start. He is eagerly waiting to get the big break and the appreciation from his peers, but in the meantime we suggest you keep following him on his journey, and enjoy the sounds he creates for the future.
