Daniel Mc Daid,known better as Dingle/Metadeko has been causing quite stir both at home and internationally as both a DJ & Producer with a range of highly acclaimed original productions and much lauded remixes.The early Nineties Irish rave scene, which consisted mostly of hardcore and house music introduced Dingle to underground dance music. DJs such as X-ray, Sci, Binman, Carl Cox, and of course Sasha were amongst his major influences.
Having set his sights on emulating these DJ's Dingle began turning his attention to mixing,and with over 13 years of experience has been regularly playing all over Northern Ireland adopting quite a unique and more tranced take on progressive house. Dingle continues to DJ at a host of Irish club nights such as Jika Jika! & Inertia as well as at the popular Redrooms club.
This past year has seen Dingle's production profile sore with DJ's such as Nick Warren & Hernan Cattaneo supporting his material, showing just how versatile he is in the studio. With releases and remixes forthcoming on labels such as Baroque , Bellarine, airport route & crashing waves 2010 is set to be a a promising year for one of Ireland's brightest talents.
