Kai Tracid, whose real name is Kai Franz, also known under the pseudonym Kai Mac Donald, (born January 17, 1972, in Frankfurt am Main) is a German music producer and DJ. His productions are a blend of the music genres Trance and Acid, which is also reflected in his stage name, a portmanteau of both terms.
