Pat and the Californians was a local band from Ramona Ca. During the early 60s they had a few songs that were played on San Diego radio stations including "Be Billy" and "Bad" I watched them play at local gigs at the Ramona movie theatre and store openings. I was 13 years old at the time but was mesmerized by them at the time because they were my first experience at seeing a live band. I remember Pat McGowan, (the leader of the band) played guitar, His sister did most of the vocals, the drummers name was Mike Lochran.
