Comet has been played on NTS in shows including High Noon w/ Dina J , featured first on 17 March 2017. Songs played include Frodo Der Held Des Rings.

There are at least six artists with the name Comet :

1) Formed in Mesquite, Texas by Jim Stone, Daniel Huffman and Josh Garza in 1993. Jim's brother Neil joined a little bit later. Comet released a 7", 10" and later, a full length recording on Dedicated records (Spacemen 3 , Spiritualized ). Comet toured with Low, Acetone and the Lilys and recorded with David Baker of Mercury Rev and Shady. the sound was often refered to as "space rock"- melodic pop and rock music with guitar feedback and distortion. the band disbanded in early 1997. all the members continue to make music today. most noteable is Josh Garza's Secret Machines.

2) A belgian electro punk band which recorded an album in 2009 : Mise à Feu.

3) Comet is a noise/junk band from the East Coast. Cosmic Treat and Way Out West were released in 2011.

4) CoMET (Collettivo Musica Elettroacustica Torino) is a Torino-based collective of artists focusing on experimentation, electronics, electroacoustic music, improvisation, live electronics, analog & new digital technologies, sound installations & mixed media performances

5) New York rapper perhaps best known for his work alongside Blaq Poet in Mad Screwz (2016), but he has also released several EPs with the label Mad Men Entertainment.

6) 14 yr old hyperpop artist named cometesh.
