The Blech has been played on NTS shows including Elena Colombi, with Die Einsame Trane (Wosto Edit) first played on 27 March 2017.

The German band The Blech became known when they came on the scene in 1985, using a combination of experiments with language and music, with a fondness for absurd plays on words. The Band split in 1996. The lineup consisted of Hubl Greiner, Rupert Volz, Shirley Hofmann, HB-W (Helmut Bieler-Wendt), Therofal (Therofal Rödelberger), JP Volk (Jens-Peter Volk), Sandra Coutinho and Bagdad (Achim Schmidt).
