The Norman Luboff Choir was a popular "easy listening" (then known as "mood music") ensemble of the 1950's and 60's. They were really more of a modern studio-recording vocal ensemble than a conventional full choir, and they seldom used more instrumental accompaniment than an accordion or guitar. Their albums were usually thematic, focusing on a genre or locale such as calypso or the American south.
