Greenville, South Carolina 60s garage rock group whose leader, Rudy "Rude" Wyatt, later formed The Wyld. 'Lost One' by The Roots featured as B-Side to 3 singles by The Wyld, credited as The Wyld even though only Rudy Wyatt was involved. Apparently the record label boss, Major Bill Smith, wasn't prepared to pay to master extra tracks for the B-Sides. Some Texas compilations feature The Lost because their 1965 single was issued on the Texas Brownfield label.
