Olan Mill has been played on NTS in shows including Ancestral Voices, featured first on 23 April 2017. Songs played include Ride Face, Cotton Access and Week 12.

Olan Mill is the ambient project of Alex Smalley. Svitlana Samoylenko was also a integral part of Olan Mill's earlier releases. The work is described as holding a sublime measure between the realms of modern neo-classical composition and ambience. Smalley has worked with several other artists on paticular albums, including soprano Patricia Boynton and pianist Alex Lucas.
