Name for multiple artists: 1 – Alternative/Grunge band from Fort Collins, CO. Other Peoples Children, or often known as OPC, were originally founded by members Steve-o (guitars) and Doug (vocals) as an acoustic grunge project, things quickly changed with the addition of Cory (bass) and Andy (drums). Mixing influences of punk, grunge, rock, and metal, O.P.C fans began calling them "Grungecore." Other Peoples Children released only one studio EP (Waking Up With Morningwood) during their early voyages as a band, but released numerous live albums, videos and demos throughout their career. In 2009, Other People's Children announced that they were disbanding, and returned in 2012 with the announcement that they had begun practicing old material and working on some new. The band currently consists of the original founding members Doug Ware (Vocals/Guitar) and Steve Newhouse (Guitar/Backing Vocals) with the full line-up expected to be released in early 2013. As of now, a new album and an acoustic EP are in the works, both in which are being self-recorded, produced, and released under their label, TheMSG.net Records. All of their albums appear courtesy of Other People's Children and TheMSG.net Records.
2 – Other People's Children is a solo project by Australian based electronics musician Jason Sweeney. Jason Sweeney begun other people’s children in 1995, released a bunch of singles, a couple of albums and a few cassettes, on labels like morr music, library records, in a lighthouse, best kept secret and 555 recordings. Things sort of wrapped up in 2004.
