Blood Sport hosted a guest show on 24 June 2017. Blood Sport has been played on NTS in shows including AD 93 w/ Tasker, featured first on 23 May 2017. Songs played include Reflective Orange and Boiled In Dust.

Blood Sport formed in Sheffield in 2010, and ever since the trio have forged an arresting sound practice from within the city’s industrious art/music community. They play 'aggro-beat' a self-defined style spanning west african guitar music, repetition, and now increasingly colagulating around experimental dance music and techno. Through their live performances, recordings and label/promotions outlet Hybrid Vigour, they explore the crossover between performance and the club space. The normal live set up incorporates live drums, drum machine, baritone and electric guitars and processed vocals, but recent projects have seen them expand to synthesizers and more. In 2016 they were invited to perform a residency on the Moog Sound Lab, the results of which will be released in due course, and further collaborations with Negative Midas Touch, Tidalcycles/Algorave and Giant Swan are forthcoming also.
