(1945-2002) Composer. Poet. Percussionist. Singer. Economist. An active participant in the student movement in a military-ridden Brazil, Falcão lived in exile in Paris for 12 years. There, he created various percussion instruments, many built by the French artist François Lalanne, father of actress Valerie Kling, with whom he got married. He recorded three albums and, like many others, died forgotten and forsaken by his own country.
