Gate Zero has been played on NTS in shows including Minimal Effort, featured first on 17 July 2015. Songs played include Fresh Water Lake, Take My Breath and Truth.

Gate Zero (Stefan Biermann), of Germany, is an electronic musician who produces modern ambient in his own right. His music is rich with atmospheric sound design and delicate, skittery beats. Since the age of 12, Stefan has been an avid music collector of a wide range of electronic music -- from ambient, electronica, electro and experimental to drum and bass, jazz and hip hop. In the late 90's he nurtured his love for music by working in various record stores and DJing at clubs. In 2004 he set out to create his own music and succeeded in 2005 with an impressive debut full-length release on Pete Namlook's FAX records. Stefan also records chillout/house/downtempo under the moniker Space Tourist and is working on live performance concepts for the upcoming year.
