Cultural Amnesia has been played on NTS in shows including La Vida es un Mus , featured first on 11 September 2017. Songs played include Materialistic Man, Lament (Hexagonal Cages) and The Dialogue Of Skull And Soul.

Cultural Amnesia are an English post-punk group first active between 1979 and 1983. During this first period they released three cassette albums: Video Rideo (1981), The Uncle of the Boot (1983) and Sinclair's Luck (1983) and contributed to a number of compilations. Working in the wake of the early industrial bands, CA's output is very diverse, ranging from ambient soundscapes to synthpop. After fifteen years of silence the band produced three new tracks in 1998. Recent years have seen a return to sustained activity and some small-scale releases of old and new material.

In July 2007 Anna Logue Records released the LP Enormous Savages, a nine-track selection of 1981--83 material. Early sales were accompanied by Little Savage, a four-track mini-CD of new recordings. Another LP release of 1980--83 material, a double-album, Press My Hungry Button, was released by VOD-Records in October 2007. A CD version of Enormous Savages - Enormous Savages Enlarged - was released April 2009 by Klanggalerie. The CD features a bonus 80s track and five post-2000 tracks. In December 2011 the band released This Is Not Your Shape on the Bleak netlabel, a nine-track free download and the first album of all-new material since 1983.
