The Newcomers has been played on NTS in shows including The Do!! You!!! Breakfast Show w/ Charlie Bones, featured first on 30 July 2014. Songs played include Girl, This Boy Loves You and The Whole World's A Picture Show.

Had a hit in the early 70's with "Pin The Tail On The Donkey." These Memphians also contributed plenty of background work for other artists on Stax, and opened as a live act for label mates Al Green, The Bar-Kays, and The Emotions. After the demise of Stax they added a fourth member, Vince Williams, and changed their name to Kwick.
