Heat Exchange

Heat Exchange

Heat Exchange has been played on NTS in shows including Prosumer, featured first on 17 October 2017. Songs played include Shake Down.

1) Heat Exchange, a Toronto-based rock group from the 1970s released a series of singles. One made it into the Top 10 and they were met with some success and a substantial recording contract. Eventually, prior to releasing the album officially, the group disbanded. While this particular single shows their more commercial side, they were an incredibly creative, experimental group, often incorporating interesting, baroque elements and unusual rhythms. Member Info (from Left to Right in the image)… Craig Carmody (Sax/Flute): Resides in British Columbia, Canada today, with his wife, three children and one grand-child. Repairs instruments and continues to play saxophone in various local bands. Ralph Smith (bass): Information to come Mike Langford (vocals): Information to come Neil Chapman (guitar): Information to come Marty Morin (drums, background vocals): Information to come Gord McKinnon (keyboard, harmonica): Information to come For a detailed bio of Heat Exchange, read here: http://aftersabbath.blogspot.com/2013/12/tdats-96-heat-exchange.html
