Multiple artists release music under the name Ornament.
1. A project by American producer/musician Joe DeNardo, best known as a founding member of seminal ambient/drone outfit Growing. His debut release under this alias entitled Protest Music was released by Swedish label iDEAL Recordings in 2015.
2. A German rock band from Hamburg formed by Felix Wiesner (previously of Tenfold Loadstar, also known as Die Singende Krake) whose influences run the gamut from classic singer-songwriters like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Elliott Smith to electronic/rock-based acts such as Interpol, Depeche Mode, The Cure, and fellow German band The Notwist. As of 2010 they appear to be inactive.
3. A one-off collaboration between American band The Afghan Whigs (at the time comprised of Greg Dulli, Rick McCollum, John Curley, and Steve Earle) and Marcy Mays (of Scrawl) whose lone single released in 1991 contains a version of the former's "Tonight" – albeit a different version than the song released on 1992's Congregation – backed with a cover of Carole King's "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" (from her 1971 album Tapestry).
4. An ambient collaboration between Australian producers Simon Polinski (of Mimesis and previously in Beargarden, among others) and Joe Creighton, who have also released music together as Hesius Dome. The duo have a lone album (Bleu, 2004) released under this name.
5. A dark ambient/industrial project by Italian musician Davide Del Col (of Echran) with four albums released on various labels such as Oktagön, Blade Records, Benekkea and Afe Records. In 2011 Del Col began a new project entitled Antikatechon.
6. A little-known experimental/folktronica project based in Stourbridge, West Midlands, United Kingdom, whose various albums were released independently in the mid- to late 2000s and can now be found on the Internet Archive at Archive.org.
7. A little-known Estonian rock band presumably from the 1960s/1970s.
