There are at least three bands named Statue:
Alex & Chris from Chain Of Strength put forward a project that leans much closer to the Dischord sound of the mid 80's as opposed to the Minor Threat influenced Chain. The presence of early post hardcore DC bands' influence doesn't stifle their own energy. Track down the "Something To Say" demo, later released on Ambassador Records under the name Statue, this demo predates Filter The Infection and is the bridge between that release and their days in Chain Of Strength.Alejandro Aguilar Barreto - Vocals, Guitar Ikah Barker - Guitar Angelo C. Hervey -Bass Guitar Chris Bratton - Drums
Finnish Power/Thrash Metal band, they released only one album, Comes to Life (1990)Line-up: Ari Anttonen - Guitar, Vocals Mika Moisio - bass Jari Vanhanen - Drums Marko Moisio - Guitar

Belgian post-rock collectiveAfter having released two albums, Belgian based instrumental band Statue are back with their third installment 'Kasper' (produced by Micha Volders).
The band, notably known for having four guitar players shocks and awes audiences with their heavy wall of sound. Backed by a tight rhythm section,
Statue delivers songs with a keen eye for detail without losing the focus to keep those feet dancing.
Line up: Lennart Janssen - Guitar Joos Houwen - Guitar Jan - Guitar Emiel Van Den Abbeele - Guitar Bart Weyens - Bass Antoni Foscez - Drums
