Prozac +

Prozac +

Prozac + has been played on NTS shows including Third Circle, with Acida (Album Version) first played on 15 February 2018.

Prozac+ is an Italian punk band, founded in Pordenone in 1995. They are named for the brand name of the antidepressant fluoxetine, manufactured by Eli Lilly and Company.

The band's three founding members are Gian Maria "GM" Accusani (guitarist and singer), Eva Poles (singer), and Elisabetta Imelio (bassist).

Their first album, "Testa plastica" in 1996, was critically acclaimed but sold poorly due to distribution problems; their recording company responded by sending the band on a year-long concert tour, during which they performed at over 200 shows. Their second album, "Acidoacida" in 1998, was released by EMI and sold 175000 copies.
