Bare Wires has been played on NTS shows including Got Kinda Lost Records Presents Planet Fever, with Go Away Frankie first played on 31 March 2018.

Bare Wires was a psychedelic garage rock band from Oakland, CA that broke up in 2012 after imploding at SXSW and subsequently canceling the remainder of their tour. Shortly thereafter, lead singer Matthew Melton regrouped with a new outfit, Warm Soda, currently based in Austin, TX and signed to UK's Castleface Records.
