Asheru has been played on NTS shows including Ted Draws, with Trackrunners first played on 10 April 2018.

"You cant stop the music," says Washington, DC's own Asheru (born Gabriel Benn), an artist who has, since the beginning of his recording career, taken the independent route.

Asheru is best known as part of the group The Unspoken Heard, and as a founding member of the Brooklyn based label, Seven Heads Entertainment.
