Audio Sports has been played on NTS shows including Okonkole Y Trompa , with Strange Emotion first played on 23 May 2018.

Audio Sports was founded in 1990 as a collaborative hip-hop project between Yamatsuka Eye of Boredoms, electronic composer Aki Onda and then-battle DJ Nobukazu Takemura. The trio released one album in 1992, Era of Glittering Gas before essentially disbanding and passing sole control of the project to Onda. Takemura went on to release his first solo album under the moniker DJ Takemura, while Eye returned to focus on his noise-rock outfit Boredoms.
