Lord Skywave has been played on NTS in shows including The Synth Hero Show, featured first on 1 May 2014. Songs played include Fauns , Something (Andy George Re-fix) and Owrarnj.

Lord Skywave AKA Simon Lord also performs as one member of the Black Ghosts and is the former vocalist with Simian.

Among Simon's arsenal on instruments is the Lord Skywave analog synthesiser. The synth was designed and built by his father and is one of only five known models remaining from the original run of ten.
