Paul Mitchell Trio has been played on NTS shows including Andrew Weatherall Presents: Music's Not For Everyone, with Please Mr. Play Boy first played on 22 July 2014.

Paul Mitchell led the Paul Mitchell Trio on piano for 30 years. They played 6 days a week at Dante's Down the Hatch fondue restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia from 1970 up until his death in January 2000. He was on the faculty at Emory University where he taught music and he retired from there in 1995.
