There are at least 5 artists who go by the name Flint.
Flint was a solo project by Keith Flint of the The Prodigy. The band had four members; Keith on vocals, Jim Davies (Prodigy live guitar, ex-Pitchshifter) on guitar, Kieron Pepper (Prodigy live drummer, ex-RealTV, ex-Happy Gilmore) and Tony Howlett (co-wrote Baby's Got a Temper, but not related to Liam Howlett) (both) on drums. Kieron's role in Flint was to be the bassist on recordings, but live he sat behind the drums and left bass duties to Rob Holliday (Gary Numan, Marilyn Manson, The Mission, Curve, The Prodigy, Sulpher). They managed to do several gigs, and their first live gig was held at Scala, London 11 June 2003. The first limited single was called Asteroids released in May 2003 (as one sided pink vinyl 10" limited to 2000 copies). The first official single was Aim4, released on 14 July 2003. The video for the single was directed by Jonas Åkerlund who also directed Smack My Bitch Up, among others. After that the band was supposed to release their debut album Device #1 produced by Youth on 28th July 2003 but the album was aborted and later the band decided to split up. Now, Keith has a new solo project called Clever Brains Fryin.

A project between Jay Chappell and Andy Galea: 2 London, UK based House Music DJs that met while playing for the Journeys By DJ record label in the mid to late 90s. At this time they produced some House Music tracks which never saw commercial release. After the demise of JDJ they changed their style to the upcoming breaks format and had a number of releases on Finger Lickin' Records including Theme From Flint, Everybody's Funkin' and a remix of Soul of Man's "Between The Eyes".
Flint - Flint was a Detroit-area hard rock outfit formed from the ashes of Grand Funk Railroad in 1978. GFR drummer Don Brewer and bassist Mel Schacher were founding members, along with Billy Elworthy on guitar and Craig Frost on keyboards. The band released two albums, Flint (1978) and Layin' It On the Line (1979). The name is derived from Brewer and Schacher's hometown of Flint, MI. Frank Zappa had a guest appearance on the band's debut. Flint never found an audience and broke up sometime in 1979.
Edmonton's Flint could be a renewable energy source. They remind me a great deal of early Blood Brothers, the sound of a broken piano that is having all the keys mashed at once, then turning on a dime in an all-out sonic assault. Kinetic energy that could power a city.
