They should return to the place from whence they came, from thence be drawn to the common place of execution upon hurdles, and there to be hanged by the necks, then cut down alive, their privy-Members cut off, and bowels taken out to be burned before their faces, their Heads to be severed from their bodies, and their bodies divided into four parts, to be disposed of as the King should think fit.

Hieronymus

Hieronymus

Hieronymus has been played on NTS in shows including Trevor Jackson , featured first on 6 November 2014. Songs played include Softice, Escalator and No Surrender.

Hieronymus is the name of at least 3 different artists.

1) Oxford band, Hieronymus release their second full-length album, `Save the Day' on 16th November, 2006. Three years in the making it's full of twists and turns with an eclectic mixture of folk, indie, jazz and country but firmly beating at its core is its pop heart.

'Save the day' was recorded in two studios in Oxford, UK over the last three years. This new album sees the band doing what they do best. Melodic pop with a twist. You'll still see flashes of electronica ('Sad' and 'Forgive') and grinding guitar ('Windy in the Cellar') but for much of the album they get back to their roots. With lyrics sharp and sometimes bitter and twisted they want you to sit comfortably but … maybe not for too long.

2) Hieronymus is also the name of a of a dub techno producer releasing tracks on Danish netlabel Kyoto Digital.

3) Hieronimous is also a project led by Simon Balthazar, the former Fanfarlo singer
