The Black Tulips has been played on NTS shows including Floating Points, with Ma Fou Fou first played on 14 May 2018.

The Black Tulips are a UK based band formed in early 2005 by Alexandra and Lord Fuxley, named after Alexandre Dumas' account of the rare and contradictory bloom.

Lord Fuxley also records under the name Benbo and Alexandra under the name Pimpernelle.
