Steven Greenberg (born October 24, 1950) of Saint Paul, Minnesota is a musician, record producer and the owner of the independent October Records label. He is best known for his involvement with Lipps, Inc. in which Cynthia Johnson did the lead vocals on the first three albums which used funk, pop, jazz and rock to style their music. They had a huge hit in 1980 with Funkytown which was released on Casablanca, the same label that Donna Summer was on at the time.

Many of his songs are classics on the dancefloor such as Rock It, Designer Music and the Ace cover How Long.

Greenberg eventually moved into web design, and owns Designstein, a profitable company that was based in Minneapolis.
