Scott Ryser has been played on NTS in shows including The Synth Hero Show, featured first on 8 January 2018. Songs played include Warm Moving Bodies (Tex Mix) and Cannibals (Ryser Remix).

Scott Ryser was the principal songwriter, synthesizer player and singer for the UNITS. The Units were one of America’s first electronic new wave bands and have been cited along with The Screamers and Suicide as pioneers of the music genre synthpunk. Scott and his UNITS partner in crime, Rachel Webber, moved from San Francisco to New York in 1984 where he continues to make music.
