João Barbosa aka J-Wow is one of the driving forces and the main producer of the Portugese outfit Buraka Som Sistema. He deals in Kuduro; a strange but ass-shaking mix of early house, calypso rythms and excellent gritty voices. Could be described as the missing link between baile funk, breakbeat and Baltimore-style bass.
