Girls Of The Internet

Girls Of The Internet

Girls Of The Internet has been played on NTS over 10 times, featured on 19 episodes and was first played on 7 May 2014.

Girls of the Internet have swiftly risen up the electronic music ranks since their debut release ‘When U Go’ on Luke Solomon’s Classic Music Company in 2017. Known for eclectic disco-informed house music, both behind the decks and in the studio. With support from DJ’s like Pete Tong, The Blessed Madonna, Jamie xx and Axel Boman over their 2 self-released albums SYRUP & Girls FM, and accolades such as a BBC 6 Music 'Album Of The Year', a mix for Apple Music’s Beats One Radio 'One Mix’ series, a collaboration with James Lavelle's UNKLE project, and a sell-out debut live show at London’s Night Tales venue.

Recent highlights include sets at the number 1 club in the world, Hï Ibiza for Glitterbox, appearances at Pikes, Printworks, Warehouse Project, Fabric, as well as festival appearances at Latitude Festival, Standon Calling, Brunch in the Park, Solomon’s Nobody Is Not Loved, and headlining the Greenpeace Field at Glastonbury Festival in 2023. With their third album forthcoming on Classic/Defected; the group show no signs of slowing down.

Drawing inspiration from the past 50 years of dance music, Girls of the Internet’s music joins the dots between house, garage, disco, techno and dub - creating something that glances back into dance music’s history, whilst dragging it kicking and screaming into the future.
