Formed in 1987 while the members were attending university in Toyko, Fishmans have had a long, unpredictable trip through the music industry, and have technically never offically retired the band, despite the tragic passing of their vocalist Shinji Sato in 1999. Drummer Kin-Ichi Motegi keeps the spirit of Fishmans - and their legacy of seminal, inventive psychedelic rock and dream pop - alive. Mixed and compiled by Enharmonics & friends.

Mr. Big Happy is a graphic designer, artist, DJ, and music archivist from San Francisco, California. While he is an accomplished designer and artist, over the years he has always had a love for music and spends time searching for rare and obscure vinyl. Big Happy’s focus is the late 70s into the late 80s - modern soul, funk, boogie and disco.

One Deck & Popular

One Deck & Popular

One Deck & Popular has been played on NTS in shows including Andrew Weatherall Presents: Music's Not For Everyone, featured first on 13 September 2018. Songs played include Son Of Stitt.

South London's One Deck and Popular were responsible for the creation of the now legendary Steroid Abuse parties and the seminal fanzine of the same name.

DJing and producing since 1997, their sound resonates with reggae and dub influences, whilst embracing elements of modern electronica to stunning effect.

They have released a series of singles on the Black Country Route imprint. Their first single Son of Stitt was brilliantly received, by DJ's such as Laurent Garnier and was picked up for the Fabric 10 CD compiled by Doc Martin.

Then followed a series of remixes and their own Enrico ep featuring Hayereyah which again attracted a lot of DJ attention and radio play, eventually seeing it reproduced on the Strictly Dub comp for Sunswept music.
