Rocket Empire has been played on NTS shows including James Massiah, with Feel Good Song first played on 14 February 2015.

Rocket Empire are the Portland, Oregon based duo of Jon Cates and Dave Dish. Their sound is a fusion of acoustic indie rock and down-tempo, on level with Kruder & Dorfmeister and Nightmares on Wax. Their first two albums ‘Rocket Empire’ and ‘See Me Speak in Color’ saw heavy support from Sirius XM Chill, KCRW, KEXP and SomaFM Groove Salad.
