Hilary Jeffery has been played on NTS shows including Happy Death w/ Ed Horrox, with Blues Alif Lam Mim In The Mode Of Rag Infinity / Rag Cosmosis first played on 6 March 2017.

Hilary composes and plays music, writes and makes visual art. Music has been Hilary’s main activity since c.1988, recording and playing live with many musicians and groups including (in roughly reverse chronological order): Zeitkratzer, Catherine Christer Hennix, Lysn, Jimi Tenor, High Birds, Kreepa, Black Galaxy, The Kilimanjaro Dark Jazz Ensemble, The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation, Paul Dunmall Quartet and Octet, Moksha Big Band, The Barton Workshop, Apa Ini, Keith Tippett’s Tapestry, Band of Holy Joy, Sand, Earthling, Hugh Davies and Germ. Current activities include the development of a new group called Lysn to play psychedelic drone music, a third CD of trombone and electronics for FMR Records, and many new compositions including works for chamber ensemble, big band, for viola and double bass.
