Steve Masakowski has long been regarded by many to be New Orleans' best jazz guitarist. He is credited with the invention of the Keytar, has recorded as a guest artist on over two dozen albums, and produced at least five CDs of his own. Masakowski is currently signed to Compass Records. He is the guitarist for the Modern Jazz quartet Astral Project
