DMBQ has been played on NTS shows including ARRHYTHMIA, with Thou, Winter Song first played on 4 December 2018.

DMBQ There are two bands known as DMBQ. The one is Dynamite Masters Blues Quartet is a Japanese experimental hard/prog/psych rock band from Tokyo. The other being The Davidson Murley Braid Quintet, a Canadian five-piece jazz band.

1.) Dynamite Masters Blues Quartet is heavily influenced by British and American rock music of the 1970s, especially bands such as Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

2.) The Davidson Murley Braid Quintet is a collaboration between Juno award winners Mike Murley(saxophone) and David Braid(piano), along with emerging saxophonist Tara Davidson. Jim Vivaian (bass) and Ian Froman (drums) complete the quintet. Murley and Vivian were both members of the Shuffle Demons, a group that fused funk, rock, jazz, and reggee.
