Jack the Zipper formed in Windsor, VT during the summer of 2002 from the remains of the short lived (but very large) Fog Of War. The initial lineup featured Chris playing guitar, Zach on Bass, Colin on drums, Davis on trumpet and Tildy singing. After a few rehearsals, this group got pissed off at eachother and decided it was more fun just to hang out, leaving only Chris and Zach. JTZ was reborn after a one-off gig with Mark from FOW on drums and "Bogus" Mike. on guitar. The final roster was Chris, Zach, Mark, and "Totally" (not to be confused with Bogus) Mike. they went on to conquer at least a small part of Windsor, VT with their "Extended Pleasure" E.P., but were quickly burned out by the pressures of their wild success.
…BUT[T!]
JTZ reconvened briefly in the winter of 2009 to record some new tunes. The band, now featuring Davis on drums, plans to re-record stuff and generally have oodles of fun.
Watch out.
