Krish was first played on NTS on 25 February 2019. Songs played include Jungle Queen.

Indian-American Indie Pop artist, Krish, is a producer, singer, and songwriter that draws on electronica and R&B influences. Citing Bon Iver and Blackbear as a few of his primary influences, Starting in 2017 with his debut EP Roses & Bonfires, the EP showcased the R&B and Hip-Hop influences that he grew up on in upstate New-York.

A string of singles followed shortly after, slowly introducing more of the contemporary pop side of his producer persona. The third of which, ‘Like U’, a sultry R&B-Pop record showcasing Krish’s vocals, ended up gaining major traction, finding him a dedicated audience in the Pop landscape.

After a 6 month self-reflective hiatus, Krish returned with a an experimental B-side single titled ‘Hopeless’, exploring ways to incorporate EDM and Trap influences. During February 2019, “In Your Absence”, Krish’s sophomore EP comprised of records made in 2018 during the hiatus was released, garnering upwards of 200K streams on Spotify alone.

After cutting his teeth on records of differing genres for two years, Krish began releasing under East Vibe Publishing, a management and publishing firm started in June 2019, focusing solely on carving out a space for himself and his sound in the Indie-Pop landscape. ‘Four’ and ‘Elated’ are two singles off of his East Vibe Publishing affiliated debut EP scheduled for release in January.
