Caedmon (named after a seventh-century Anglo-Saxon poet-monk) is an acid/psychedelic folk band formed in 1973 in Edinburgh. They disbanded in Edinburgh in 1978 and reformed in 2008.
Formed in 1973 by a trio of veterinary students attending Edinburgh University, the band expanded to a quartet the following year and embarked on a touring career.
