WAVE FORM W/ AURÉLIEN ARBET & PIERRE ROUSSEAU

During 'Wave Form', Aurélien Arbet and Pierre Rousseau explore an interpolation of various recordings, often at the margins of traditional formats and conventional styles of music. During an hour, a long oscillation is formed out of a selection of interviews, spoken word, poetry, music for dance or art, marginal pop attempts and various field recordings. Aurélien Arbet is an art director, co-founder of the clothing brand and publishing house Études. "Tears in the Club" presents a unique blend of structured and chaotic music, combining intense hip hop, drum and bass, footwork, jersey club, and sometimes Afro rhythms. This multi-genre musical show explores diverse musical landscapes, creating a striking contrast between genres, while also showcasing new artists.

He was a founding member of BAG (Black Artists' Group) of St Louis, a founding member of the World Saxophone Quartet, and director of the multi-arts non-profit organization Passin' Thru. Lake received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1993.
