Simpletones has been played on NTS shows including The Reign Set , with I Like Drugs first played on 3 March 2019.

The Simpletones were an early LA punk band from the late 1970's, the second band signed to the new Posh Boy label.

Among its members were Snickers of The Klan, Jerry Koskie and Rabit from The Cheifs and Jay Lansford of the Stepmothers, CH3, Rik L Rik and the Urge fame.
